Just Starting To Take Shape

We have been away for a couple of days but I took the machine with me so I could work.  As the layering and overstitching builds so the quilt begins to take on a personality.  Sadly the photograph is rather washed out, the colours are deeper and richer than it looks here.

I will add the rest of the wall tomorrow if I get the chance, although Gillian is coming to work on her quilt.  Once the wall is finished I will then add the cat in order that I get the perspective right for shading on the hills.

    I really love the depth of field used with the hills behind the viaduct. Well done! Its a treat to watch this quilt grow.
